Our Projects
Awaken The North started as a Hashtag ( # ) , then grew quickly into a Twitter feed. But it didn't just end there. Awaken The North is now on many social platforms and is extremely easy to access. Now running on 6 platforms not including email @AwakenTheNorth is now readly available to all its followers. Continue reading below to learn a little about each of the platforms, how they came to be and how each councilor plays such a dramatic role in each of them.
 "#AwakenTheNorth is a movement, towards the revival of the Asatru faith. ZERO tolerence towards White-Supremacy" Is what we have been stating since the begining of time but it doesnt really explain much. Awaken the North originally was called AsatruAwakening but the organization rebrand due to some unknown discoveries. This Twitter page is our #1 Project followers now reaching 3,802 and growing our following has expanded over the single year of our existance. |  Awaken The North's Sixth councillor Damara Vitae proposed the group creating a facebook group early September 2014. This was still when the organization was named "AsatruAwakening" but early January 2015 we rebranded to "Awaken The North" Facebook worked cooperatively to help us rebrand on their website. As you can see the Facebook group being newer has less followers but still at the impressive count of 3,812  Likes. |  Webpage​ Due to the ever growing followers we have decided as a group to create a webpage for those who do not have Twitter or Facebook. Again our tech savy Damara Vitae set us up with a Wix webpage. We try to update the webpage as much as possible with up coming projects, new partners and new councillors. We plan on expanding the website to full force to help those who look for kindreds as well as kindreds looking for members. |

 GroupAwaken The North has decided we want to hear the voices of its followers. And we want to hear them loud, so we recently created a Facebook group under our same name to invoke conversations between memebers and councilors for others to view and comment upon. We are currently standing at only 88 members but see the group growing very quickly. |  TumblrUnlike most of our pages linked to our founding base on Twitter, our Tumblr is run sperately by our Damara Vitae as a personal blog. Still connected by the roots to our Twitter she advertises the group on her header while she blogs stunning norse photography and artwork. |  YoutubeMany are unaware that our group recently started a youtube page. We use this page to further spread the videos the councilors make or are featured in (for example an interview) this videos help spread our views and are for people to get to know us better as people other then just admins behind a screen. |
 A recent addition to our online feeds. Mainly run by our lovely councilor Kat Hammond, adding new photos and new coverstation starters daily she posts under our name to spread lovely Norse art throughout Instagram. Look it up under @Awakenthenorth |
